The structure of teflon hoses includes PTFE resins with high resistance and stainless steel braid. An appropriate solution is for transportation of steam, gas, fluids, chemicals at high temperature and high pressure. The advantages of the teflon hoses are in the high degree of abrasion resistance, flexibility, ease of manipulation and their chemical inertness.
According to their structure teflon hoses are grouped as follows:
- Smooth external and internal surface
- Smooth external and corrugated internal surface
- Corrugated external and smooth internal surface
- With one or two metal braids
- With one metal and one textile braid
